Re: Can anyone guess what this is and what is it for? Can't help feeling this is a trick question. I agree it looks like a spent cartridge however the use I think has changed. I think you have used it to help remove the wheel nuts
This can only end badly
Re: Can anyone guess what this is and what is it for?is there a prize for the correct guess dave ?

Re: Can anyone guess what this is and what is it for?You are going to be doing what I've been thinking of doing.
Cutting them down abit then heating up the plastic so they fit over a 19mm nut. You will need 24. wheel nut covers Last edited by andytats on Fri Aug 01, 2014 6:05 pm, edited 1 time in total.

Re: Can anyone guess what this is and what is it for?Hi all.
There is no prizes for guessing what these are. andytats, has got it correct, these are shotgun shell wheel nut covers and andytats,I have got 24 of them. These will be going on the nuts when my 16" alloys are on our Fronty,as the 20" alloys have centre caps cover the wheel nuts. R.I.P Sable!(2005 to 2013)
Re: Can anyone guess what this is and what is it for?If you can get hold of any 14 gauge shells they fit over the tyre valves.
