interior lightsHi. Just wondering if anyone can help. Brought my son a 1.2 05 plate polo to learn to drive in(wouldnt insure him on my frontera lol) The interior light wont come on either from opening the door or manually. Replaced the bulb and checked the fuse. Anyone know if there is another fuse somewhere or what else to try. Thanks Steve. According to the book that came with the car the fuse is no28 is that correct?
Re: interior lightsIf that's what the book says, then probably yes. I'd check if anything else on the same fuse works too.
Try the VW forms to see if they know of common issues with that type of car? Jim...

Re: interior lightsTry cleaning the door contacts and check the wiring under the light unit as the earth may be at fault.

Re: interior lightsHave you dropped it out to make sure it is actually hooked up to the wiring?
Also check the wire to see if it is live, if so, it will be the switch on the light, or a bad earth. Regards, Keith.
