Sorry everyone yes cylinder head work - ideally the whole head gasket replacement. The business I was going to use has literally just been taken over and a little bird has let me know the new owners are notorious!

I have run through my usual contacts and those of my mechanic but can't get anyone to take the job !

There is a garage up near tesco goldington,where roundabout is at charlie chalks,go towards elm farm,just after leaving roundabout turn left,will see a coach place,garage is up far corner on right,should still be there,or there is 1 near where skoda garage is,turn left when you get to skoda and they are next to the tyre place,or another place opposite bedford modern school near the traffic lights.
