You couldn't make this up

So this morning I headed of to 1 of my patients funerals ( he was a lovely man and I try and go when ever possible )
Had a beautiful service , choir the works .... When head outside after the service to say our goodbyes to the family as I tend not to head to the cemetery to give the family the privacy etc
Standing at the gates waiting for the cars to leave , the family car left before the hearse ( which is odd )
Stood around for a wee while and a undertaker pops his head out " hearsts broken down " .......... Just waiting for a spare car , after 25 minutes guy pops back out to ask " anybody got jump leads "
Yip I shouts , heads of the gets the fronty and leads !
To find the undertake under my former patient ! As this is apparently were the battery lives , then had to tow it out the courtyard as my leads weren't long enoughy to reach round the back and and I could get past to turn around !
Finally got the old guy on his , I look at it as his final act of " you will help me once more ya scouse git "

A nice story and a big thumbs up for helping out.

Maybe the location of the battery could do with a re-think :shock:

(I wonder if that's why some hearses sit outside churches with their engines running during the service?)

Knowing the person in it , he would have found it highly amusing ..... It 1 of the moments that will never happen again .... And I will always remember the hearse I had to jump start :angel:

Would have scared the #### out of passers by with jump leads going into a hearse, it would have looked like you were trying to raise the dead :shock:
