car trailer

Postby crash_ndie on Sun Aug 18, 2013 11:34 am

hi all Ive finally managed to get my car trailer back, so Ive tried the beast on it and yeah the axles dont seem to like the weight of it  . its a twin axle and takes a vectra fine so me thinks i need to upgrade the axles a tad bit  ive 4 fronty wheels sat there so i was thinking of using an axle of a scrapper truck with the diff free wheeling but the track is to narrow for the trailer .... any ideas how i could extend it or what i could use ?

the axles that are on are singles bolted on (http://www.towsure.com/product/Braked_T ... nch_Wheels) that type .. ive measured up and the axle with hub to hub is 2100mm cant think of any vehicle i could get an axle off that wide .... oh on a second note dose the trailer have to be longer than the car its carrying or is it ok for the boot bit to over hang?
