how do you find an old car you use to own

hi everyone,

im after some help and advice. I love my frontera to bits and have kept out to showroom condition. but I'm after tracking down an old car I use to own. its a vauxhall astra sport metallic black reg number P431 KAJ. im after advice on how do I track it down or even better and I now is a long shot one in a million does it sound familer or know of it any help i fours appreciated thank you for taking the time to read this. p.s I will not be selling my frontera as I love it to much

You could look on the Directgov site and
do a tax status check in the reg.
If the car is still taxed you may be in
with a chance of finding it but if the tax
has expired the car may have passed on to
the great garage in the sky.

what can I say but thank ytou for the advise I just wish I could find out who and where it was but it sound like it has been exported well somone somewhere has got a cracking good old motor wish I never sold it never mind. thank you everyone for your help
