2.2 dti miles per tank/mpg

Had my new truck a few weeks now and just completed a 510 mile round trip yesterday before the red light came on.
The truck averaged 37mpg and like I said 510 miles before the red light came on.
Are these figures good or bad as I am use to a v6

So what mpg are you getting and miles per tank??

That sounds god to me. Average driving town/open roads I average 32mpg. On a run I can get 36 to 37 so long as i don't go over 70mph lol so that sounds about right

Think of all that extra cash you are going o have to spend on it now lol

I drove mine from Dover to Paris, around Paris (sat in trafic quite alot) and then got back to Calais before the light came on...dont know exactly how many miles it was but best part of 500 id say. But on my way to and from work id get about 50 miles out of a tenna's derv, what ever that works out at...mid to low 30s I think, On a long run maybe 60 miles too a tenna but no more. a tenna being about 7.1 litres.

It should be noted however...that Dan measured his fuel consumption in MPB....miles per breakdown, and his figures may not be entirely accurate, as often his cars are being towed yet still it clocks up the miles on both the odometer and the other present members good will.
Towed often to a meet even, where the premedial work commences to enable it to participate momentarily until the remedial work is required to be carried out to enable it join in for an instant prior to limping woefully off to a retirement.

I got the same as Dan.
You will get slightly more as yours is a y22 and ours were the older X22

Keeping the revs low, short shifting and not clogging mine I can get 40 on a run and about 33ish round town.

Just got back off my holiday and the new tuck was great

It was fully loaded with 4 adults and one child and the boot was loaded from the floor to the roof.
The truck returned 42mpg traveling between 50mph and 70mph on a roads. I am totally amazed at how good the 2.2dti is
