Strange Frontera Mod

I was looking through Frontys on our local French website, and came across this.....

Looks like a Mercedes bonnet!, adds a touch of class perhaps, what do you reckon?

Not my cup of tea either, but thought it showed a little ingenuity, a real 'Marmite' one I think

Looks like a Merc front bumper and re-worked wing tips too...

Interesting idea when you are lacking spares for the original turn signals or the headlights...
Mercedes parts are more easy to get.

But it looks quite poor. Even the star is missing, so the driver's view is not changed really... :sick:

That crossed my mind Rich, look where the wing and indicator area merges.

It's not a photo shop job it's actually FOR SALE, I think any prospective buyer would be seriously miffed if they turned up and it looked different :shock:

I thought it might be photoshopped when I saw a piccie of that car a while back...but in fairness I dont think it is possible in photoshop to make such an awful transition on the flare of the front wings...transistions that are that mishapen can only be created out of inch deep filler or by colliding with a lorry, tree or motorway bridge.
9/10 for originality, but sadly 2/10 for the effect it achieved and implentation...

Also the vent in the bonnet directly above the fuse box might lead to some electrical gremlins...
unless its a fake vent, in which case its owner/creator should be beaten repeatedly for lowering the tone of a fronty to that of a chavved up saxo/corsa/206.

Looking at the other pictures it looks like the paint work is blemished where they have altered the wing for the indicators, maybe its not good workmanship?

No need to convert to left hand drive either Drift!, the 'Hunters' buy the 4x4's here, and couldn't care less
what side the wheel is on, prices for off roaders are so inflated, that my 2.2 2001 would easily fetch
between €4,000 - €8,000 even in right hand drive form, depending on who views it :shock:
