Justice yes however i feel they have been a bit harsh. A colleague at work has only done 3 months inside for GBH.

A lot of chavs do far worst than that and get a slap on the wrist and a bit of community service, usually the girl's have to work in a charity shop, but half the time they don't bother to turn up, but nothing happens to them and I've seen this first hand, the so called "justice" system in this country is pathetic.!.. :thumbdown:

Your bloody right there. I know he needed a punishment but that was way to harsh to say no one was hurt and he prooved how good the Frontera realy is! :thumbup:

I think he's unbalanced and a stay at a medical facility may have been a better idea.

i had a look at the video of the fronty on snowden it looked very clean to have driven up there, the tyres looked like they were never used, i have walked many of the mountains in wales and often thought about a little drive up one :crazy:

I think the sentence is bang on...its the other sentences that are way wrong...

Everyone make mistakes, do things in the spur of the moment, or get caught up with situation and act out of character and this can end up with situations getting out of hand, sometimes with consequences that would other wise be totally out of character.

However the big difference with this case is that he was fookin stupid once...got caught, (at which point a lighter sentence would have been appropriate for the reasoning above, assuming he has an other wise clean record)

but this idiot showed no remorse, and then went on to do it again and mock the judicial system, and break bail...so he deserves everything he gets I reckon.

Hopefully he will get to share with a cell with a huge "queen", whos hung like a donkey....In fact I would be willing to send his cell-mate a case load of viagra to make sure this muppets stay inside is something he wont forget in a hurry. :twisted:

Before all this he was pretending to be a recovery agent if he saw a broken down car and tried billing people he stopped for and used malice to obtain monies, he was prosecuted for this I believe. He then went on to fit a snow plough to the Frontera and small gritting device to the rear of it and tried charging people for his services while unlicensed and uninsured.

The guy is a crackpot of the biggest order, how long before he does something even more stupid?That said the knob head didn't even bother attending his own court case today :roll:

initally i thought the sentence was way ott, but he did it twice so how many chances should someone get ? however if he is mentally unstable then i agree with birthday boy boxy

HATE to admit it, but for once I have to agree with Foggy. It seems as though he was judged on his past errors as well as this offence and probably did deserve it. That being said I suspect the judge knows full well he will be out in about six weeks.

I know I am a bit late in this thread, but would a Landy have done the trip I fear not. One up for the Fronty I think. As for the offence thats the risk you take.

An Armstrong Stoneleigh (related to a Rolls Royce) was driven up the mountain in 1923 and I think an early Fiesta was up there once for charity with permission, if you have walked the route you would see its not that much of a challenge :wink:
