1903 Vauxhall

A car believed to be the oldest surviving Vauxhall has been sold for £94,460 at auction.
And I thought mine was old.!! but if anybody wants to buy mine I'll take half that price :lolno:

Talk about chain driven Keith....when I was a kid I seem to remember Brooke Bond tea delivery trucks were chain driven Fodens.? but I may be wrong.

1903 Vauxhall 5hp Two-seater Light Car
was ordered on 6th November 1903 for Vauxhall Director, Percy Kidner, at “director’s price”.
It is a standard model, liveried in cream with red lining, equipped with a pair of Dietz sidelamps and an acetylene headlamp with generator. :drink:

Smiffy I was on about the old Brooke Bond tea van's, either chain driven Trojan's or Foden's, I seem to remember seeing one or the other of them about when I was a kid....and that was back in the dark ages and the old memory 'aint what it used to be :oops:
