Help wanted on a mitsubishi shogun.

As the title say's need a bit of input on a friends mitsubishi shogun on a 03 plate. He has been told by a dealership that his ecu has had it. They have quoted him £1500 for a new one . Does anyone on here know of a place where he can get a known good second hand one and also were he can get it programmed. Any help would be good.
