what to about selling mine?

hi all
now it has come to the point where i am in need of a car i can easly do over 1k a week i am currently doing so i have got my self a new one (pic's and post to come)

so my swb and all the parts will be up for sale(spare enging 3 sets of wheels etc)

so i am wondering if i should try on the great bay with mine how it is inc winch etc
but as it stands (inc 7 kl71's) i would be wanting about 1k
or do i put it on its road tyres and remove the winch, cb etc from the front(everything on my recovery bar) and then try and get about 500 ish?

what is your ideas


and yes i would love to keep it, but i have no space and im moving from lowestoft to wales in a few months if everything plans out and then defo no space for it there.

You'd be better off stripping off the winch & modified / off road parts and sell them separately.

It's highly unlikely that anyone would pay £1000 for it I'm afraid. I'm not knocking your car so please don't take it the wrong way but it's a rare day that anyone gets back what they've put into a vehicle and that includes the top end show winning vehicles let alone older 4x4's with offroading dings....

Seriously for a car of that age and condition you wouldn't get more the £550 on a good day with all the kit on it.
You will do a lot better breaking it but as I read it that wouldn't be viable due to room and circumstances.

If you took all the bits off and tried to sell you would be looking £250 to £300 absolute tops plus what you get for the tyres separately.

You can never get back anything near what you put in, we do it for the love not the financial gain.

I know its hard but sadly that's the reality.
