banter general discussions etc

I wondered if it might be interesting (or even useful) to other members, for us to share our hobbies & pastimes, and maybe meet up to share some similar experiences. Also, it might be interesting to hear what role your Frontera plays in your hobbies & pastimes.
I have a couple that you might already have guessed:
1. Safety Radio Marshal on motor sport events. The Frontera is often used in 4x4 mode to traverse the competitive route to get to my allotted post, whereby it become my office for the duration of the event.
2. Amateur photography. Here, the Frontera is used generally as a mode of transport to get me and the equipment to different locations. Occasionally the 4x4 is used on water-logged camp sites and the occasional green lane up into the mountains.

Mine is used as 1) The main transport for a family of 5 2) A work horse for me at work (gen building & landscaping) 3) Something that can get us out in to the wilds, so as we can camp with no worries
As for hobbies, Everything interests me. I'm an ex-cable hacker, I have a 1973 series III on the drive that i just started refurbing. I love camping, fishing, beer, food, tinkering with anything (not necessarly in that order, lol)

Mine is my daily car and gets used for everything tbh. Kids, dogs, holidays With regards to pastimes I love historic racing so it gets used as a tow car, kitchen, parts/tools car and viewing platform at times lol. Also use it as was intended and it gets dirty round our local area when I can Cheers Alan

Site setup and take down for re-enactment events.
I not only partake in the events, but also help setting up the site and taking everything down again. This usually involves tugging heavily loaded trailers (up to 4 tons) around muddy fields. Work mainly involves setting up tents, running electricty and water systems around the site. Then preparing themed bars and set dressing.
