Andytats Snorkel make from a middle box exhaust

I wanted a Snorkel for the disco but i didnt want pay stupid money for one so i was having a little play today.
I still had the middle exhaust from Christine and with the aid of my friend the ( angle grinder) and this is what I come up with :lol:

It still needs the top finishing.

I will add more pictures as I get on with the snorkel

Here you go one finished snorkel for the cost of £8 and that was for the flexi pipe :lol:

One length of drain pipe free from work
Half a metre of flexi pipe £8
One old exhaust middle box and pipe
Small piece of Christine's roof
Two jubilee clips 60-80mm
Duck tape , silicone
One can of primer which I already had
One can of blue paint which I already had

Nice and snug to the bodywork and doesn't go above the roof line. :thumbup:

I still don't understand why the 'proper' snorkels do that
