2.2Dti Tuning box advice & 3.2v6 advice please

Hi there i was adamant in buying a 3.2v6 for towing some of my vintage farm stuff and a 5 berth caravan every now & again now iv been reading the facts & figures of each engine and i was wondering what the 2.2dti is like with a tuning box fitted as that will give 145bhp & 305nm torque. I dont want anything that will struggle to get to speed or have no speed atall thats why i was tempted to go for the 3.2 with plenty of hp and torque.

Whats peoples opinions on both engines and what would you go for and if anyone has any advice on 2.2 with the tuning box that would be good. I only ask as i dont want to regret buying the engined car i want something thats not going to struggle to get to 60mph i want to it to drive with ease.

Also what sort of real life Mpg do you guys get from the 3.2v6 would it be quite reasonable for every day driving how many miles to a full tank cheers

v6 - roughly 20mpg mixed, a bit less when towing. loads of power.

Dti - I towed an 800KG trailer with a LWB 2.5 Diesel Fronty on it from south wales to north wales without any problems. MPG approx 33 mixed , less when towing.

IMO , a gassed V6 is the car you want.

If fuel ain't a issue 3.2 v6 all day ! And as above if it's on gas it's a bonus !!!!!!
