interesting discovery re vauxhall parts

the other week had new tyres put on but one of the wheel center caps (2003 frontera 7 spoke alloy ) was broke took it to dealer he took part no off & ordered it £15 inc vat went to get it today it was the one with opel badge on the vauxhall one was £40 so i just uncliped vauxhall badge from old one cliped it to new one saves £25 why such a price difference and has anyone else found this for other parts

Aye, often when sourcing the mechanical bits for a 2.8 >>>> Isuzu are your friend.
Either in stock or delivery to the dealer, sparrows next day.
Cheaper by loads.
Of quality.

This posting may have been helpfull, on the other hand probably not... Either way, I may have had drink when posting it in which case it's probably not as helpfull as it could have been
Work safe, and remember all technical problems can be resolved with a hammer, the trick is knowing where to hit it and how big a hammer to use (I often find it may also help to have a spare bit in the shed to replace the bit you have just mullered
)

Owning a 2.8 is a hobby in it's self...
