New addition to the fleet...

Did a deal today and ended up with a new scudster for Sally to get to work...

Always liked these, nice looking cabriolet...and it sounds nice to with a 2.0i 16v breathing through a full powerflow stainless exhaust system and K&N induction kit...suspension is right firm to and it handles great so I am wondering if thats been uprated...

Few bits to tidy up and sort, but nothing major...drives sweeeeeet...

Will be up for sale when the sun comes out in the summer proper probably (if we get one!) :lol:

I used to sell these brand new when they were first launched. Nice car to be honest. Is the leccy hood all good ?

The hood all works fine Si, but there is a problem with the securing system on the tonneau cover where its not releasing...my mate has been doing it manually but shouldnt be too bad to sort out I dont reckon. My mate Ian is a Peugeot mechanic so if I get stuck he can do it. He will appreciate an easy job, the last one he done for me was the cambelt on my 605 V6, he didnt like that!...Didnt try the hood in the rain tonight though! :lol:

Not really worried, might even convert it so its fully manual, dont get stuck then with it not coming up when you need it too then.
Saying that a lecky hood would be good for clearing the snow if we get some next week! :lol:

Rear window is quite cloudy though...might replace that if we are keeping it...think they are about £80 ish...

My ashtray cabrio is the same Greg, still very tight and drives great.Only got 57k on the clock, very good for a 97 car.....

Gotta say I am impressed with it...
