Re: Driving in SnowI have and would never put an extra load in the back of my fronty, besides, i look forward to the snow and GETTING the back end out on the fronty with a little or a LOT of extra teasing on the throttle/hand brake/brakes or Scandinavian flick as SO i can get the back end out!!

Re: Driving in SnowI barely have the need for 4x4 round here never mind the need to load up the arse to gain grip. Although last year there was a time when a 18ft brian james car trailer on the arse with a corsa c on it on a flat road wouldnt give me grip so endedup driving the 6 mile journey in 4x4 due to how slippy the roads where.
Re: Driving in SnowI have never found the need to add weight.......wether it was a 4x4 ( shogun, range rover ) or a saloon or estate......if accleration is smooth and gradual, breaking light and gradual.....progress can be made.....u may get the occasional twitch, slide but thats half the fun.......have had to reverse up hill once or twice, with a front wheel drive automatic, all adds to the fun
Re: Driving in SnowIv got a 2x2 slab in the back of mine and a bag of rock salt i love how tail happy it is but my passengers dont lol
When I was a kid i used to pray every night for a new bicycle. Then realised God doesn't work that way, so I stole one and prayed for forgiveness
