were has the past 2 years gone

i joined F.O.G back in November 2009 just to get some answers on problems i had with the truck.
i was never a mechanic but with f.o.g.s help i have managed to fit a head gasket, clutch plus a lot more.
i had never done any off roading/greenlaning. then it all started with Greg posting about a picnic in the woods
so i thought i would give it a go. since then i was hooked not just on the playing side but the whole site of F.O.G

so the point of this post is just to say a big thank you to you all. :clap:

Been a great 2 years here aswell although majority of it has been jsut lurking and reading stuff

Yeah I agree FOG has been the only forum have ever stayed a member of and enjoyed reading and chatting about new things everyday. It also makes me feel a bit more confident about owning the vehicle I do because of the help and support I can get through here.
I was round colleys the other week and his missus informed me that herself and my missus were officially frontera widows :lol:

Colley's a bit of a frontera player and had (killed) a couple of them before his v6 mind :wink:

Has been great fun the last couple of years Andy...we have had some laffs and some... :lol:

Andy i joined in 2009 but seems like a lot longer but to be honest i have made some really good and close friends trough fog but each of us adds something to it with each post we put up and well that to m,e is what makes fog . As i have said before i have had fog friends help me with my car and in return try and help with other peoples as the squeeky squizzel says " SIMPLES"

That was when I had my old banger 2.3 LWB. Only joined to get some info. Lost touch for a while but thought to myself early last year I should see whats happened after getting my Trooper, and looking for some off roading information. Never looked back since. Great forum, great people, and hopefully I added some useful input along the way.

Ive been here for years, nearly as long as Smiffy :lol:

Ive met great people and friends, lost a few but gained more, and my Mrs knows this place and the car keep me out the pub and out of trouble (if only she knew what goes on here :lol:

) so she would never let me leave.

Its really good to know all the members contribute and help each other and give confidence and the vast majority are happy.

I've just looked at the date I joined too... 9th December '06. Damn near 5 years ago!! :shock:

That's only a year or so less than Drifty, although I note my post count is only about one-tenth that of his so I obviously don't spout anything like as much mushroom food as him :butt:

Still, to echo others' sentiments, I have enjoyed my time on here, met some great folks, had some even greater times, so long may it continue I say.

before that was june 2004 and before that was on the original site in 2003

its been fun even though i dont have a fronty at the moment got a lot of bits in the garage lol
