After a uv torch

Hi. Can anyone on here suggest a good uv torch to test for dye in my air con system i know there is a leak.Just don't wont to spend a fortune on one.

Hi Pixie thanks for replying but have already been in touch with maplins and that one is no good.It needs to have a powerful beam to detect the dye.

i have one here that is new,but my little boy has run the batteries out ! takes 2, 3 volt ones.used to work for a air con company and they used to sell these to customers,also have the yellow uv glasses that you need.personally i used to use a brighter one but it will be fine with the glasses and the darker it is the better ! do you ever come up this way though ......

saying that,if your up this way you can get a free diagnosis from the place i used to work at ! they doing an offer.look up vehvac.......

yes m8 that is,they charge £75 + vat for recharge,not your cheapest ! inbox your phone number if you like and i might be able to get someone i know to see you when he over that way for £40..........if that helps :wink:

Hi Bigga.Its on a renault that i have a problem they checked the system and said i have a couple of leaks on the condensor and dryer.They wanted to replace the units complete.I want to make sure its just not the seals that have failed.I'm in Hastings is that near to you.
