nothing wrong with that. My farmer mate is on his second and loves them

its really a mazda b2500. and it wont be long till his rear prop needs rebuilding and its g'box explodes if its an on road truck they cant seem to take all the grip they have. had a speight of them recently

My mates got a ranger,and I laughed when he said he was going to put some BFG on, and start to go green laning with me
And he did and it went any where we had water over the bonnet with no snorkel and it was fine

The down fall was,he hat to keep on stopping to put it in to 4x4

A supervisor on another section did have a works one but for some reason he never let me have a go in it

erm.. the Ford Maverick CAT fits onto the leaf sprung 2.0 sports - I know.. because mine failed on emissions last year and I happened to find one in the scrappys... lol.. £10.. bolted straight in.. REDNECK style - but she passed.. might put it back on for the next MOT in a few months..

So fords cant all be bad.. saved Little Martha..!!

As they say ford and mazda, same car different badges. In south africa they both come out of the same factory.

Quite a few utilities and engineering companies are favouring them. Private purchasers seemed satisfied with them too.

I have heard some business fleet managers are now looking at the NCAP properties of these style of trucks as health & safety rules reign supreme, they are worried if an employee successfully pursues a claim against their employer should they suffer injuries in a crash whilst an occupant of a low rated vehicle, when higher rated trucks are available on the market.
Will be interesting to see if this aspect ever progresses.

friend of mine has one, bought it new about 5 years ago. He is a tree surgeon and really hammers his vehicles. He hasnt really had any problems with it except the normal wear and tear.
