grrrrr ebay snipers

just had winning bid on a set of bull bars identical to krushers watched it right till it ended and got sniped with no time to respond what bleep me more off is i was ready and waiting for it and had 9 seconds to get my new bid in and still lost the item because my bid wasnt registered in time. the guy is only a mile away from me too. :evil:

I snipe all the time, it's part of the game

For example today I got a cracking set of bullbars for an A series. :lol:

the guy was asked the question what they were off lwb swb yr etc. he said he didnt know he bought them for his landy and put them up on ebay when they wouldnt fit and was told by his garage they were off a fronty. they buyer i dont know anything about or even his username its all starred out

box if it was you i wouldnt mind so much. what ticked me off more is i sat and watched it getting more and more wound up then in the dyeing seconds to get outbid without any real chance of getting it back

already done as soon as i lost i got onto him asking similar. just makes my blood boil.

Unlucky mate, but to be honest 9 seconds for a snipe is just plain careless and could be beaten. Must admit, if I really want something then I'll snipe it and mostly get the hit in the last 2 maybe 3 seconds tops. It really is the way to grab a bargain, even more so if the seller hasnt put a reserve on.

If you put a high enough bid on then the snipers can't beat it or they will pay far too much!

I can't talk, I never bid on anything until the last 15 seconds, so I snipe everytime lol

If you were willing to pay more then why not stick a higher maximum bid on it in the first place?

i miss keyed on my phone but got winning bid. last time i upped my max bid it upped my current bid too so i dont do it anymore if i miss key i keep it till outbid
