The STIG! is booked in for his mot tomorrow afternoon at 2pm and Ive got everything crossed. I will give you all an update afterwards.

Drinks,its hopefully a pass but its mainly to see what he needs bud. I know the owner of the garage through my brother but its a sssssssshhhhhhh bud.

Update:-

The STIG! failed his mot on:-

1. Nearside (sill holed) seat belt anchorage prescribed area is excessively corroded.
2. Offside (sill holed) seat belt anchorage prescribed area is excessively corroded.
3. Nearside rear leaf spring fractured.
4. Offside outer track rod end ball joint has excessive play.

Advisories:-

5. Steering system has slight free play detected at steering wheel.
6. Offside brake pipe slightly corroded.
7. Nearside front tyre worn close to the legal limit.
8. Offside front tyre worn close to the legal limit.
9. Front brakes only just met the front brake imbalance requirements. It would appear that the braking system requires adjustment or repair.
10. Front brake discs pitted.
11. Steering idler has slight play.

Oh dear!! Never mind it will keep you busy!!! A Fronty's not a Fronty unless you got to fix the little darling!!!

Well the good news is the list of failures isn't that bad and easily sorted. And you have a lot to keep you busy after you get it passed with the advisories but once again not that bad really

4x4 bobby,I dont think its to bad considering that there was a 2000 BMW 3 series diesel in for its mot before my fronty and it failed on the rear drivers side suspension leaking,both front track rod ends,leaking front passenger side suspension,insecure exhaust system,emissions and there was 3 or 4 pages of things it failed on. So I think my Fronty was quite good compared to that BMW.

I knew it would fail anyway so its not to bad though. The only thing that I can see,that will hold me up and that is the rear leaf spring bud.
