just got back.....

hi guys just got back from morocco ,what a great trip,,,,i defo made chose the right motor the fronty performed faultlessly did well over a 1000 miles and over 250 of them on tracks in the atlas mountains i have all the information and i will do the calcs tomorrow but on the roadsat 55-65 mph i was getting 30 mpg which i found was amazing as i was fully loaded she never used a drop of oil or water will post pics asap,,,,,,,good to be back,,,,,

A bit more expensive that a 2 man tent from Millets then :shock:

Truck performed faultlessly never missed a beat never used any water or oil and it got pushed hard some days only had to put some air in the back tyre as it was a tad low,,17psi,,,, :shock:

other than that it was returning approx 30 mpg which was unbelievable,,,i was paying 10 dirrams a ltr for petrol thats bout 70-75p a ltr my buddy was paying 7 dirrams for diesel,,,bout 54p ltr so its a diesel next time for me,,,,the rear springs i put on were a godsend,,they soaked up everything and performed great glad i did that,,,i put a few turns on the torsion bars and that gave me a squeek when it was dry but when they got wet it was ok,,,,so any help on that would be good,,,,so im totally wrapped with my little fronty she did the job above the call of duty,,,,,, :mrgreen:

The one picture seen drying the sleeping bags was the day after we had a really bad weather day and night,,,torrential rain sleet and snow high winds woke up and we had a lake under the car,,,but it was just condensation inside,,,it was so cold and we were so warm in bed it just made condensation,,you cant help that on any tent in that type of weather,,,but open it up and in an hour everything is aired and dry,,,,,ok a few more pics,,,,
