Re: Astravan fuel pump relay Any ideas of where?????Dont look like there is, we pulled every relay and it still run. The bloody thing keeps starving of fuel.
Re: Astravan fuel pump relay Any ideas of where?????Check kinks in fuel lines, change filter and investigate the shut off valve (front middle on Vaux engine, somewhere at the back on Isuzu engine).
There are only 2 tools in life: Gaffa tape and WD40. If it moves and shouldn't, use the gaffa tape, if it doesn't move and should, use the WD40.
Re: Astravan fuel pump relay Any ideas of where?????fuel cutoff on the isuzu is a pig to get at,you need to get under the car and remove the alloy casing under the fuel pump, the fuel pump edu is bolted to this casing, then you need to remove the sponge sound proofing thats around the pump, fuel cutoff can then be seen under the pump, also google the fuel pump edu because these are very common fault with astras, there is a company on ebay that recons these edu's,best bet would be to get the codes read, that will tell you if the fuel pump edu is at fault, another common fault with the isuzu engine is the main ecu that bolts on top of the engine, the pins on the ecu where the harness plugs into corrode and snap.
