MOT is looming again!

Mot due on Wednesday and I have a sneaking suspicion that it will FAIL!

Haven't had the time or the money this year to put things right.
Already got most of the things it needs but, that's no good if they aint on the car!
Will just have to see what I can do between now and Wednesday (weather permitting).

I'm in the same place as you guys, MOT due end of this month and know I have to replace all brake pipes and n/s drive shaft . And thats just what I know about as haven't checked her over fully yet...... Loads to do next week! Good luck with yours guys, hope it goes well

It's mostly small fiddly stuff, it's just that there are a few of them!

Ive not been near my own car for weeks, even still got the same fuel in it from last year, so no way Sunday, the wife and kids have me then

Progress has been made!
Many thanks to "Huggy", I now have a new Jurid Coupling in place and the n/s/f bearing has been tightened up and greased (needed quite a bit of tightening).
Off to big bro's in the morning to check the other front bearing and maybe have a go at replacing the suspension bushes as well.
Front brakes could do with replacing as well so, I'd better get a set on my way up there in the morning.
Oh yeah, nearly forgot. Phone the garage and book it in for test!

Booked in for test on Wednesday.
Hit a big snag this afternoon with one of the brake calipers though.
Hopefully, getting it sorted tomoz.

Hope to get it back in the morning with a clean bill of health.
Will post results as soon as I know them.
Costing me around the £300 mark!

At least I know it has been done properly.
My local mechanic is very good but, it's still costing me almost as much as I paid for the car in the first place!

Finally got the car back today and it cost me "more" than I paid for it.
But, at least they sorted out everything it needed!
Long list of things that needed doing and a price tag of £460.49.
