3.2 v6 petrols

Hi all since i sold my v6 vectra the money is burning a hole in my wallet and need to buy somthing fast before i end up spending it I am wanting a 2.2 dti BUT the price to buy one at the moment is shocking so ive been looking at the 3.2s and want to know will they drink fuel like there is no tomorrow etc ? I keep telling the wife i carnt see it useing much more than the vectra am i right in saying this ??

i had the 3ltr v6 omega before the fronty , and the difference in mpg is hardly noticable

you would be looking at 20 mpg ish mate which isnt much worse than my 2.2 petrol & given the choice id go for the 3.2 everytime

The 3.2 will average around 19mpg with a standard foot on the pedal
worth every penny

Iv misplaced my standed foot, but when I find this rare accessory for the v6 i will let you know.

I would hold out for the diesel if it were me, I found it depressing visiting the pumps all the time when we used to run a v6 monterey, nice engines though.
