Some people are's beyond belief! I'd love to know what goes through the heads of some of these idiots...The red Mitsubishi Galant driver in particular. Why was the stupid tw4t going anywhere near that speed in those kind of conditions? MORON !!!!! Apologies if my rant offends anyone, but I have cleaned it up to what I said when watching it. :butt:

the galant driver is an idiot too fast and like the l 200 driver all they needed to do was let go of the brake. all look like no one was injured and thats whats important but with all those peeps around it could have been nasty.

Good vids that demonstrate well how lack of driving ability can go bad real quick...
but I gotta ask why one of you guys didnt go to the top of the hill to try and stop cars coming down if it was that bad, sooner than video'ing their misfortune half way down....

that's just it Greg, me and drift done that, and the police where at the top of the hill, and the drivers where just driving round the police cars, as you can see in the l200, he would not even open his window, until he crashed, you know your self Greg, they have an attitude of my car is best and you know bugger all, like the taxi that just missed my car by inches, by driving like a nutter, then getting 10 feet in front of me and losing traction and spinning, i just stood there laughing

Why do they think just standing on the brakes it the best option?? That Galant what a total nob those conditions at that speed lucky guy

lucky no one was killed a sign should be up saying road closed with cones an barriers not much a few of them could do to stop but why were they going so fast regardless an have their foot jammed on the brakes

why is no one at top of hill stopping drivers

and my god does nobody know how to drive on snow ice ? pump the brakes turn into the skid putting it in reverse will do nothing

WOW!! I don't really take too kindly to idiots on the road nor there vehicles but one thing that does really bother me with those idiots is the fact there stupidity is going to cost us all in the new year by raised insurance premiums..Most folk don't really need to venture out in this weather but yet they do so and put other folks lives at risk by driving like they do.. :shock:

It was a good job no-one was killed. I would send those vids to the Transport Minister,if it was me.

Just goes to show how a lack of basic technique can lead to an accident. I was working in Cardiff on friday. The service area for the shopping centre I was working in was on the roof and to get down I had to come down a fairly steep snow covered slope. I just put the van in first and kept my feet off the pedals and it crawled down quite happily and completely under control.
