Fronty on telly!!

Hi All,

Watching the news tonight in N Lincs and Grimsby has been snowed in and the hospital called for 4x4 drivers. Anyway on the feature was a red LWB B series fronty resuing an old lady and a doctor. Top Man!!!

Only last night I looked up the 4x4 response for Kent. I only heard about 4x4 response recently and it sounds a worthwhile thing to be involved with.Having hardly been off road ever I would need training.

If the Grimsby story with the Frontera is on the BBC local news others of us may be able to catch it on the 970 channel numbers of Sky - don't know exact channel number but local BBC news can be viewed from elsewhere in the country on the high channel numbers. Local news broadcast about 10.30pm ish??? David.

I had fun towing stuff this morning on the bridge! Got a fewe strange looks from other 4x4's in a "you can't do that in a fronty" also one of the truck drivers said he couldn't believe it as he thought they were naff!! Proved him very wrong lol.

Some of the soft road 4x4's are truly pants though (big yacky y front type too lol)

I have heard Shropdoc and out of hours doctors service are looking to pay 4x4 drivers reasonable expenses to help get doctors and nurses to call outs in the Shropshire area.
