V6 as a road car

Should I get the chance of a road car, purely for the road, I reckon it would be a V6.

I would spend a petty penny on the exhaust and road tyres, I would get the best spec possible, I would polish it and have the windows privacy coated

I would love a little sports car but I just cannot get used to sittng in a low car anymore even the Picasso seems low, but drove a couple of cars this week, a corsa, Hyundai and a BMW 320 and though the last had a bit of oomph compared to my two diesels I just didnt feel safe or comfy, all in the mind, but my mind is made up.

Plus a powerful road going Frontera makes sense we have the best place in the world to get info to fix them here

I kinda agree with ya Ste. The only thing that would concern me would be the running costs. I don't do many miles, but I know they ain't exactly frugal. I can see your thinking though, and would have more than enough power to tow a modded Sport for off-roading.

prevoius car was a 3 ltr omega elite with a colins power chip , so fuel consumption is not really an issue

if anything the fronty is probably slightly better

ste if you want to leave the 2.8 here you could,

yer think i would like another 3.2 or a 2.8 and keep it standard, apart from shocks and new springs

i felt exactly the same infact i was obsessed with getting a nice v6 for my daily drive & keeping the 2.2 for fishing & the odd off roading etc but trying to get my hands on a low miler with s/h in this neck of the woods is harder than getting 4 numbers on a line on the lotto [ that took me 15 years ] i found a really nice 03 swb 2 owner full vx s/h in prestine condition, this is the 1 i thought smiling smugly to myself but then my usual good luck kicked in & i realised that swbs are only 4 seaters i really need 5 with the grand child so i gave up looking , i know when im beat ended up getting a vectra instead, its nice but its not a fronty
