Bit of help/advice - Isuzu Vehicross......

Hi All,
Hope everyone is well...... haven't been on for a long time (mainly due to being pretty upset at the conduct of another member)....
Anyway..... my poor old Fronty is in need of some serious work (mainly in the brakes dept!) and as the tax/mot's just about to run out, I'll be taking her off the road for a while.
I've been offered an ISUZU VEHICROSS at a real good price so I'm taking the plunge and buying it!
60,000 on the clock (verified) some real nice accessories on and in beautiful condition.
First thing I'm doing is getting it converted to LPG as a local fitter has an offer going for £1100 that would normally be over £1500!
I think one or 2 members on here have had Vehicrosses?
I'd like to know at what intervals the Timing Belt needs changing, if it's around 60,000 I'll get it done at the same time.
Any other advice/tips would be appreciated!

The Vehicross runs the same running gear as the Trooper and very similar to the Frontera B and also the same V6 engine, worth noting the service intervals for this.

Quite rare in the UK but very nice motors, I would have one at the drop of a hat.

get some picture up if you do buy i like these wont be able to afford one till they get on a bit though. maybe i can replace my fronty for one when its life is over

Is the engine on these EXACTLY the same as the Frontera V6??
Kind of important as I'll want to get the cambelt and correct tensioner

Just Googled these as I've never heard of a Vehicross, and Wow! I want one !

It was imported from Japan if that helps......

plus it is best to get the kit from the usa, postfinder got a good deal, and v6power got a good deal, almost half the price

Thanks, yep ... States seems to be the way to go even with postage ... dunno how the "stealers" over here manage to sell anything.
I guess I'd be a numpty if I didn't change out the water pump at the same time...
Here's my list....

Timing belt
Pulleys
Timing belt tensioner
Water pump.
Gaskets etc....

I'll get the engine / rad flushed at the same time and get some of that expensive red coolant stuff......

Have I missed anything?

Well...... I GOT MY VEHICROSS!!
The guy who sold it me was real Pl*nker though.
He reckoned it had only done 64000 miles (had all the old m.o.t's to prove it too).
While I was driving it home I noticed the "Miles" were racking up a bit quick..... closer inspection showed they were actually KILOMETERS! - RESULT!!!!
That means it's only done 40000 miles!!
Also told me the suspension was a bit "Firm" ........ not surprising really when he'd got the tyres pumped up to 57 psi!!!!!
Unfortunately that meant a new set of tyres as although the tread was hardly worn on them it had started to lift!
It's Dark Metallic blue (which is very rare for a Vehicross - looks like there were only ever 3!)
Bumped into "bobbinsjob" in Stevenage Tesco's yesterday (Love that fronty mate! - looks wicked!)... think he liked the vx.
It's got a lot in common with the Fronty.... so ..... am I still welcome? (still got my fronty ... doin' her up)

Torque on demand 4WD, handle brilliantly, really gutsy V6 ... go like the proverbial ... they are what is simply know as the dogs danglies.

There's a couple of lads on FWDC with these VX's. Saw one of them in the flesh on a laning trip with them, and I must admit I do like. Should be fun to keep an eye on what you do with this one.
