There is going to be a generation of more powerful and cleaner vehicles. And it's all thanks to a new type of Turbo that has an electrical storage device built in to it.

With this new system, there is an instant boost, and it gets rid of "turbo lag".

At the moment you can already control the fuel, with this new type of Turbo you can now control the air.

Ay up Speedbird did you know the supercharger was developed to perfection during WW2 to increase the altitude that piston driven engined aircraft could achieve without loss of performance,as altitude increases air density decreases & so does oxygen content so you need to get more air into the chambers to maintain original air speed,the performance increase at groundlevel is a happy by product

Interesting that A friend, and amazing how far advanced the Supercharger was all those years ago

The funny thing is - when the jet engine came along, that becomes more efficient with altitude, the thinner the air the better with one of those type engines.
