do we have or does anyone know of a good mg mechanic? . have got an mgzr and the "alarm control unit" has gone so i been told and been quoted £600 to put rite. have found the parts cheaper but aint got a "scooby doo" how to fit em and also the keys need recodeing. .
only had the car 3months and been told it aint covered under warranty. .

best bet is viking in b'ham as an ex rover owner (!!!!) i know they do fob recoding etc as low as £60 (INC FOB) for the older models so well worth a butchers!!!

There's a company called Remote Key at birmingham. Used them for my rover a while back believe it was £30 to send the alarm uit and keys fobs they will resync it all and recondition the fobs while they have it. Excelent service from them sent it on a Monday and had it back by the Wednesday.
