Trugga's Transfer Box Dilema

You probably know by now that I bust the Sports transfer box last weekend on a punch event.

I've lost the 4-low and 4-high drive, but 2-high still appears to work, but for how long, I'm not sure - I want it replaced asap.

I have been offered an unmolested L reg Sport for a resonable amount of money on which the clutch has gone.

If I had the space here, I would take the option of buying it, transfering the gearbox to my own Sport, and stripping the rest for spares, but as I don't have the space I wondered if anyone in the Midlands (preferably around Walsall) could offer a parking space for it for a few weeks whilst I take it to bits.

If I did have the space, I would most likely re-shell my Sports good bits into a newer shell, but that just aint gonna happen in the forseeable future.

Off the doner vehicle, I would want to keep the engine, electricals, steering, suspension, glass, doors, bonnet, alloys etc, the axels and props would be no good to me so they could be offered for sale as spares - the shell, with most of the interior would then be off to the scrappy.

This is just an idea at the moment - it all depends if I can find a tempoary home for it (I might even be able to offer some rent)

if it helps can stick it outside my unit trust me wudnt take long to strip down to various parts


the telford pose are getting very good at stripping down frontys now

If its of any use i have a transfer box out of a 52 plate.If it can be split from the box.Let me know if its of any use.If not ill be weighing them in to get some of my moey back it cost me to replace the box.Cheers Adrian
