diesel frontera

Went to look at a frontera today for the outlaws.A 2000 turbo diesel auto. It felt real sluggish to drive (I have a 3.2 v6 auto) and pressing the throttle didnt eem to make a difference. Is this normal for this model? I got a feeling that the 'box was changing gear before the motor had got into the best power band...

Come on dudes - need to know as I might buy it tomorrow.Who out there has a 2.2Dti auto?

Been a while since I had a go in a DTI but they should be pretty nippy, not driven an auto though.
Have you checked the 2.2dti section?

If its running right the 2.2 DTi is pretty nippy. Not sure what the autos are like but manual is fine! MAF sensor can affect performance quite a bit and not bring on the EML
