Yorkshire 4X4 centre

Well we did our corporate day at the above on friday and had superb fun.

In the morning we did a couple of hours with shotguns shooting at clays and I'm quite pleased to have hit quite a few (came second in the little competition we had)

Then it was on to the 4x4 course. I had asked if they had a bit I could try mine on but it was too extreme and would have ripped the bumpers, steps , mudflaps etc off. Anyway we used their defender. Crikey what a vehicle!!! Some of the inclines we went down and up were incredible!! We all got about 15 minutes or so behind the wheel but I definately want to have a go somewhere in the fronty to see what she can do. I know some of you guys have a lot of mods to go offroad but be nice to see how good it is in standard trim (then you can spend all my funds modifying it lol)!!

Finally we had 2 hours riding quad bikes. These are ace fun but I struggled a bit at first trying to ride them like my motorbike. Error!! Once I got the hang of it they are ace fun. Go literally anywhere.

A fantastic day out and has whet my appetite to try a bit more off-roading.

If you want off road experiance get yourself over to Bala for the National meet its gonna be great!!!!!!!!!

Would have loved to have come as from reading the threads it sounds great and stuff which a newbie could do. Unfortunately I have my very first sprint meeting that weekend at curborough so can't make it.

Am going to try and get across to N Lincs for the meet in the quarry bit on the last sunday if we can though.
