went to the car booty in Errol today with Helga, and a guy came up to say he was admiring my frontera!! :dance:

awwww.... never had that before. Richard used to be a member of a local car club, and done some small mods etc... and never ever did someone just come up and say we had a cool car.... Helga got complimented only 48hrs after we got her

Frontera`s i think still stand out as they are unique in shape. Even after all this time despite early critism they still on the road and thats what make`s them look good. Yeah be proud i am and i bet every one here is mine is rusty dirty battered and loved and when it out i see people looking especialy when the roof is of in the summer

I had someone wanting to buy mine just after I fitted the roofrack and extra lights.

I couldn't sell my 2.3 even when it was a girl asking me nicely. I've been asked a lot more times recently by chaps collecting scrap metal.
Quite a number of folk have commented on how smart the 2.5 is and others have remarked on how much better the dark green colour is than than the bluey silvery 2.3.

When I was doing 24 hr breakdowns years ago, the guy I worked for had 2 old breakdown trucks with these names and they had cartoons of the characters on them.

Nudge bars are optional for all frontys babe.
Easily fitted, even by a kid.

Although remember that SWB ones are narrower than LWB. So make sure you get one off a similar car. 4 bolts into the front of the chassis and job done.

There was a bullbar on ebay the other day.You could ask on here if anyones got a spare one.
I have one off the 2.3 but its very bent

The choice you have is an early older wrap around metal tubing black plastic coated one, or a later a shaped one (drift has one on his fronty) which appears to be softer and squidgy and flexes.I have one of these on my 2.5 and I dont know what its made of. There are also after market stainless steel options
I liked the ones on the 2.3 as I could tie one end of 6m lengths of steel to it and then bend them over the roof( on canvas so the roof didnt get scratched)) and tie the other end onto the spare wheel mount.
I has been expressed to me, that its more politically correct to have the later ones as apparently they do less damage to pedestrians if they are hit by a 4x4 :shock:

I don't tend to like people, and most people don't like me, so I want the metal one....lol
Either an all chrome/silver coloured or the black ones, with the mesh bits over the front lights.... undecided at the moment. Will keep an eye out for either. Saw one on preloved for £80, so shouldn't break the bank :lol:

.I'm constantly looking at fronteras for sale on ebay and there are other options which crop up from time to time.
There are also vauxhall breakers who advertise parts as well.
