Not confident at all about this one, could be expensive methinks
If it doesn't pass, I will just have to SORN it til I can afford to fix whatever needs fixing.
Haven't quite finished rebuilding the sport yet, still some tweeking left to do.

Re: MoT time again! Is it clean?
Underneath? P.S. No off the road stuff here in France, if it has an engine; it has to have third party in case someone nicks it and causes damage and it is your no claims that gets hit even ride on lawn mowers. Go figure...Someone nicks your lawnmower and trashes a Landy with it and it is your insurance that has to pay!!!! Still here in the french outback insurance is cheap as chips. Musn't grumble. BUT even if the G/box is in the shed it has to be insured in case a thief hurts himself hot wiring it. ![]() ![]() Don't tell the Govt. or the British insurers but. Shh! If you need something done quickly just ask a busy woman then get the f"k out of her way.

Re: MoT time again!Yup, clean car can make all the difference. Best of luck.
Re: MoT time again!Failed!
Near side headlamp adjuster seized! One poxy little screw Looking on the bright side though, only failed on one point. 12advisories though See if I can free off the adjuster screw in the morning and then back to the garage first thing Monday morning. As long as they can stop my N/S headlight from "Zeppelin Spotting" I'll be happy. Noli Illegitimi Carborundum

Re: MoT time again!I am Fairly Happy with that but, I would have been happier today if I could have got that soddin' adjuster screw to loosen off!
Spent half the day trying to loosen that screw,It aint movin'. Anyone got any ideas Otherwise, I will have to see what they can do at the garage tomorrow morning. I'm hoping to avoid that one. ( £45 an hour! ). Noli Illegitimi Carborundum

Re: MoT time again!Lots of release oil. there's a german one but I can't remember the name.
Is it a pozi/philips if so put the screw driver it it and give it a tap. Not a hard one just try to make it bounce no follow through a tap that lets it bounce back. Then some more release oil and do it again. You are trying to break up the rust particles to let the oil in, not trying to break the bond in one go. As it is cold out a bit of heat from a hair dryer or paint gun thingy might help in between taps. Oh and If you need something done quickly just ask a busy woman then get the f"k out of her way.
Re: MoT time again!Tried everything I could think of, nothing worked!
Took it back to the garage this morning. They can have the job of sorting it out. Should get it back in the morning with a pass! Noli Illegitimi Carborundum
