Yeah, I dont entirely trust the fuel gauge either 
It was in the red but no warning light. One day Il drop the tank and do a proper scientific type test or maybe carry a couple of jerry cans of fuel in the boot, let it run out and see what the gauge says.

Lucky the fuel was 110.9 mate.
I was down in Norfolk at the weekend and was shocked when we stopped on the way down to see the diesel fuel being sold at 126.9.
An absolute rip off. Needless to say, we moved on a bit.
