george my fronty is in for its mot monday afternoon
its going down to mechanics tomorrow for a pre mot
i know it needs a front shocker which ive got but
fingers crossed it dont need much more doing to
it with the money being a bit tight,it is also due its
road tax at the end of the month

Well got phone call from my mechanic mate my rads leaking so its
going to get repaired cant afford new one, new anti rollbar bush,
clean up brake pipes,and when i broke my door handle he is going
to have to force the doorcard off cause he couldnt get it open from
outside :cry:

all in aqll its going to cost me about £250 to £300 inc
mot to get it back on road,so im thinking hard about keeping it now
financially its going to be tight for me so alot of thinking now.

How are you with spanners? I reckon you could do all that yourself for £50, would help if you where closer.

The bushes are easy to change.

Would you not be better off doing all the work yourself then.. and then putting it back in for MOT?

i am crap really with spanners can do my own
serviceing and bits and bobs but nothing like
that plus my mechanic is a mot tester,and
i need to get it done quick need the wheels to
get to work buses are rubbish where i live 1 every
hr got company trani van for a couple of days max
so am up the kyhber without a pass without the fronty.

well mechanic phoned me went to get rad fixed
but alas beyond repair hence new one on its way.

Great news george the fronty passed mot, sad bad news it
has cost me altogether £430 will put up breakdown of bill
when i pick it up tomorrow. :cry:
