Quiet day

Its quiet in here today what`s everybody been up to today?
so far i have cleaned the fish tank and hoping to get a few hours fixing the sport before it gets dark

Spent aw day waiting on a bloody plumber

Cleaned and hoovered the mercedes in preperation for its ebay debut on saturday (free listing day ;-)

That happens to me when i pull up the handbrake.

been at work which was hell on earth (bloody russians)

then nearly threw laptop up the wall trying to buy peter kay tickets which i have now got :excited:

Work- but thinking weather I should have beer for a change or the usual red wine ......hmm

You will miss the busness when they gone. MY mum and dad own acafe come bar come bistro come gallery thing in glasgow city center and they are dead during the day

Spent my morning under an old LDV Van changing the power steering pump.

What should have been only an hours work turned into 3hrs

Never mind, at least the customer was happy to finally have some power steering back on his van and it still brings a few quid in I suppose......

I remember in 1987 our company bought 50 LDV or equivalent BL thing mini buses, basically vans with electric doors and seats.
They went on the road on four new flagship mini bus routes, within four days if the clutches hadnt gone or the rear drum brakes hadnt egged 45 where off the road for two weeks while they where recalled :lol:

They couldnt cope :roll:

it was the biggest bus investment the company was making for years and bragging about it because of deregulation....what a balls up, they never did buy any more of they, they went to Mercedes for mini buses after that :lol:
