STOP PRESS off topic but worth knowing

Hi All following the trouble with my wifes VX meriva 1.6 8v and vx's egr valve there is a FIX for all "z" series engine's 1.6 8v that are fitterd into Corsa, Astra, Meriva and Zaferia the fix is to remove the egr from the ECU via an update !!!!! :dance:

So if you know anyone with one of these car's and are having problems with it pass it on that there's a fix it just cost £34 for the job to be done from a VX dealer :shock:

SO all I will say is more time for me FRONTY :dance:

on a dissapointing note there is no FIX for the 2.2dti

after interigating the service manager even cross examining him on why can it be done on a 1.6 petrol why can it not be done on any others they just shrugged there shoulders :shock:

still more time for the fronty now so not that botherd

that you cant do away with the EGR Valve on a 2.2 DTI engine ........
