Off Topic not me Fronty but wife's Meriva Help please if pos

Right the problem is with the wife's car its a VX Meriva 1.6 16V 03 plate "Z" engine (petrol)

The problem comes when She has been driving for a while and yes she does'nt know what a "30" or 60 sign means so consider speed but what happens is when she take's her foot of the peddle she get's a juddering then when she come to a junction it stalls out on her, now this morning she went to start the car it ran for two seconds then cut out on her and this has been the case every time she has tried to start the car today, she can get the engine going for a short time by over revving the engine but as soon as she take's her foot off the peddle it stalls out.

One other thing is that the juddering only happens when she has either
filled up the fuel tank (petrol) or when the tank is less then half full!!!! feul filter changed less then 1000 miles same with oil which it likes to drink!!! yet another problem but this is not for this site :lol:

I have had the egr looked at and then blanked off but it still happens

Any ideas or suggestions would be really welcome as I am now getting sick of it

AS IT IS AFFECTING MY FRONTY TIME

P.S. and yes I have planted the seed about a Fronty for her but it would need to be FAST

Try cleaning the idle control valve.

Are you sure its not gone on to limp home mode ,sometimes the air mass flow sensors get a mardy on and need a little clean ,cant remember what with though

I dont think that its going into limp home mode as there is no eml coming on personally I think we just need to get rid and get a Fronty for her but its just the responce that I know that I wil get (well you want me to get one of those and your always working on yours) :lol:

As for the fuel bill for a 3.2 v6 at least she'll learn how to drive properly :lol:
