Well that's it - no fronties after 12 years !

Just like to say thank you very much for the advice and entertainment I have had on this forum since I joined - some of the stuff on here cracks me up when I read it, really good humour - some great wit and some sound advice and willing assistance.
The last fronty went today - the wife's 2.0 sport - had it for 9 years - sad to see it go but at least it wasn't scrapped !
So there we, are no fronties and we've had nothing but them for the last 12 years.
We are now driving ..don't laugh ....

Rovers.

Its such a shame that you have sold yours, i have just brought my first as a weekend play thing.
But my wife to be loves it more then her jimmy, she drives it more then me :shock:

she would have a new one if they where still on the market ,

Glad to hear "George" is serving you well Ash, I haven't named the Rovers yet but can't get much further than b.......d, bl....y thing, sod etc etc etc - they are like driving roller skates after fronties , but at least they don't 'drink' as much - their saving grace!

12 years of Fronty ownership thats a long time, you should be given a Gold Watch or something for that

Last week it was 1 year of Fronty ownership for me and also its my 1st Fronty, and I still really like the thing

Good luck with the Rover dont forget that with a Rover you can't get a set of Golf Clubs in the Boot, so you might need something bigger, maybe another Fronty

Speedbird - Oh yes you can - that was a must before I got it! The Rover 45 hatchback takes 2 bags in the boot and the Rover estate takes a lot more, but I know what you mean.I'll eventually get used to these cars but ITS JUST NOT THE SAME and never will be.

I've just popped in for a shufty because the Rover forum is SO boring !
