Wanted caravan...must be V cheap...to be a toilet block!

Hi foggers....I am on the scrounge... :oops:

Have been trying to source toilets for our weekenders in the woods next year...and hiring site loo's is really expensive and they wont be able to get em in the woods,
looked at buying a couple of secondhand site loos, but transportation on site and emptying is gonna be a real issue...

So have come up with the idea of using an old caravan, condition unimportant, to convert...

Ideally would have a sink for handwashing, the rest I plan to gut and make 2 toilet cubicles for hims and hers...
Then I will need 2 portapotty type caravan loos, which will be easy to transport for emptying...

Could also use it to store stuff for the picnics in between meets...ie seating, cones, tarps, "incredibly long rope" etc.

Could you guys n gals please keep your eyes open for anything that will fit the bill....

I have no budget for this so will have to fund myself and try and recoup the cost over time, so free would be fantastic if you find someone who wants rid of an old van, or certainly very very cheap...

See what you can come up with foggers....I and the ladies in particular at the SE site really appreciate your help :wink:

Ps if its towable, we might be able to kind of fog express it down here if members would be willing to tow it in stages, but local if really unroadworthy!

Plan just hatched..

My Shoot uses a Cargo container - big metal box with doors (bit ropy but functional) as a between meet store room and a 'moment of privacy desperacy' - couple of chemical loo's and some marine ply for cubicles - bobs your uncle (plasma cutter at ready Gregster!).

Dont know where they got it, will ask on Sunday. Think it was a friendly member as theres now 3, 1 for quad bike / ammo, 1 for clays & traps, 1 for Genny / fuel & Batteries & loos.....

I did notice theres a shed at the top of the hill - possibility for a lend worst case?

Or would it be worth chipping in an extra £5 each for the weekend days and getting a shed / materials in for future events, Argos / Screwfix can do a metal one for less than a couple of hundred quid?

Doesnt have to be pretty - just functional - and no spiders for the ladies.... us Boys aint scared of nuffink - :shock:

except the wonderful better halves - (Mels looking over my shoulder!!) Cylume sticks (chemical glow sticks) dont use any power and last ages for the midnight stroll... for lighting - red and green (in use - or vacant! :axe:

As a cheapo, couple of tarps for privacy and a drop pit, been to enough outdoor concerts to know how to use them (gravity a great helper!) and the girlies know the age old 'thigh tembling hover' from eons of using public loo's (no spiders!) in the less celubrious areas like train stations and car parks - and we are not all scared of being outdoors and nature does call.....

Cat did mention (she is only 14 and sees things in overly simplistic clarity - apart from when we tell her to do things - like brushing her hair, showers, wearing less make up and cleaning her room) that "the boys can wee behind trees but we (girlies) cant".

Any Campers / Caravanners out there who could help? :mrgreen:
