5 bar ally tread plate on lower doors

anybody fitted this on how and have you got pictures

Dave, hasnt frontydan got some on his doors?

Also I believe there was a guy on eBay offering pre-trimmed panels and rivets, etc, for a Fronty.
MIght have been for a SWB though, my memory's a bit suspect this morning.

i think if i remember rightly 4x4 bobby had some on the truck he had before the one he's got now :wink:

Krusher is right i do have some chequer on the doors of my toy. It is actually the plate off BOBBY's old truck, the only thing i did was trim it to look like mountain peaks...... thats what i was thinking as i cut it anyways.
All i did was measure up and cut the plate to size, fixing with rivets and lots of silicone to stop any damp getting behind the plate and rotting the doors.
I have had quite a few comments on how it look good too, alternatively BOBBY has now gone for some mirror finish vinyl on the door lowers on his new truck, this removes the chance of water rotting the doors but you would have to ensure a totally grease free environment when appying and it probably wouldn't last to long after and scrathy lanes / pay n play sites but for road use it does look sweet.
