when a new thread is posted i click on it,read it, then look to the right to see who posted it,what sort of fronty they have.i don't look to see what section it was posted in.am i the only person who does this if not what I'm i doing wrong.

First of all LOOK at the section you are posting in, anything off topic in most sections will be removed and if people continue to post off topic in these areas they will be posted a warning.

People with different cars in there profile may have knowledge to help owners of other models so its not wise to comment on the model you see in the picture, some owner own multiple cars and seen no longer own a frontera but have pictures of their old cars, so by no means is this an indication of the forum you are posting in.

Please remember the Technical forum is strictly no off topic the lounge has a more lax attitude for that sort of chat and that is why it was created.
