insurance rip off

Just cancelled insurance on 2.8 fronty, got charged £50 for the privelage.
Changed over policy from 2.0 sport to 2.5 tds ,which I am getting on Sunday.
Charged £29.18 for the pleasure of doing that. What a rip off bunch of b**tards!!!
and in the credit crunch they are supposed to be touting for business, with charges
like that they don't have to tout. Rant over for today :butt:

couldn't you of just changed the details on the insurance like transferred it over to the other car? and pay the outstanding rather than cancelled it??

Hi Roo, i had to cancel insurance on the 2.8 because i dont
own it now, and i did trnsfer the policy over from the 2.0ltr
to the 2.5tds but they still charged me for it those nice people

i love giving them my hard earned money

If you check the small print on insurance documents they charge for lots of things, mid term adjustments, cancellations and transfer of policy to another vehicle. GITS!
