hi all new to this site i have had my 2.4i diamond for just under a year it is a 93 on a L plate with 86 thou on the clock and over the last 3 weekends i have dun the 4 ball joints the track rod ends & had to get the o/s track bar that the ends wined on to made up by a gun smith 45 quid well spent as i was not paying the vauxhall dealer £145 plus vat and have to wait 2 weeks to come fae Germany i had been round all the scraps that are in Ayrshire and down to Dumfries to pick up the n/s rear leaf spring & on the scrap parts network on the net with no joy and i did the brake pads,shoes n hand break cables so this weekend i have just to do the exhaust from the cat back get the tracking dun and get it moted
o my other 4x4 is a lifted Toyota hilux surf ssrg with the the the roll bars front n back removed . well after sorting that little lot out i was back under to set about the exhaust, and looked like i was not going to get the cat to seal up so went on to change the oil. i undid the bolts on the sump gaurd and gave a pull from the back, down it came right on to the middle finger of my left hand. well it turns out that the old bus just did not want an oil change so i was off to A&E to get 4 stitches
