just been on google search for headgasket for my
2.8tdi came across this item steel seal says it
permanently seals blown headgaskets just pour
this stuff in rad when engine cold when engine
warms up it circulates round engine and seals
where its blown is it too good to be true any
thoughts anyone?

it'l only work if the gasket is starting to go even if it did cure it.its only a quick fix wont last

Shamed to say we did it on a rover px'd to a dealer... nope not the head gasket mate its fine..... get new car... leg it.
The stuff will work if you catch it early, but it will fail soon enough and not do your water pump any good either.

hi just to add to what has been said on here it wont work , had a customer try it done as said on bottle and thought was fine drove it to see family about 20 miles and by time they had got to vist they had done in engine and ended up scrapping a very nice but old car
moral of story if its gone repair it properly and you know it will last !

plus it has a habbit of settling in the heater matrix (lowest part of system) and blocking it
so when you need it in winter it hardly puts any warm air out
so you flush the system out and re-antifreeze and head goes again
